In a world of uncertainty, God is the same! He has not changed. He is and has always been the true and living God! He created us and designed us in His image and likeness. His image is not sin. His image is not darkness. His image is light and truth! If we confess our sins, He promises that He will forgive us and restore us back to Himself. He forgives us and cleanses us from all that is not like Him. He is the only one that determines what is unrighteous, not this world. This world will pass away and everything in it, but our Lord is eternal and He has made us eternal beings. Therefore, eternity in His presence is ours as we repent and turn away from what He has not called us to, and we surrender to Him and allow Him to be Lord of our lives. However, when we question His word (The Bible) as the only truth, how then can we confess something that we don't believe is a sin? We can't! If He is God (and He is), then the truth is only found in Him. And if that truth is only found in Him (and it is), then wouldn't He want us to know that truth? He does and that truth is found in the Bible. Today, let us confess our sins and be set free! True freedom is found in the Holy One, Christ our Lord! (NASB) Questions to Ponder: Have you ever wondered about life's struggles? Have you ever thought, "Why is this happening? Why doesn't anyone understand?" Thoughts: Many times in life we have these thoughts. Let's consider the following: "If we didn't have life struggles, would we willingly seek the true and living God for ourselves? If everything in our life was perfect, would we truly understand God's love for us? Is there purpose in our pain?" Let us seek God with these questions, when we go through trials. Let us remember that God promises that He will cause it to work for our good. We may not be able to grasp those thoughts while going through, but as time progresses He will begin to manifest that truth in our lives. We have to know that God loves us with an everlasting love! He has purpose for our pain and He cares about everything that concerns us. Take one day at a time and lean and depend on our heavenly Father, knowing that His purpose is not to harm us but to give us an expected end! Be encouraged, be blessed, and let Him strengthen your heart! Bible Verses from New American Standard were found on Bible Gateway. A few months ago I was preparing for Bible study. I was reading a chapter of Henry Blackaby's book "Called and Accountable." As I was reading the chapter, something stood out to me. He was explaining how God loves us and has called us. I couldn't receive that at first. You see I was reading that book with a broken heart. I had not really seen His love and I couldn't understand why He would call me when I had been rejected by others!
A few days later I went to Bible study. My pastor begin to explain further that God has called all of us. With tears in my eyes, I said, "I can't understand why He would want me when I was rejected." My pastor went on to encourage me and others in knowing that all that matters is what God says about you. Have you ever had this feeling? I encourage you to press in to the designer of your very being. He has many promises in His word that helps us to understand that we are not anybody's mistake. We are called by His name and His love is everlasting. We are not alone, but loved by a great an awesome creator! Here are a few of those scriptures and a song by Kari Jobe to encourage you today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzLRyZMKbb0 Jer. 31:3 - The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jer. 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Zeph. 3:17 - The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Psalm 103:1-5 - 1. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3. Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4. Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. #Hopeinchrist Copyright © 2016 by Denise Walker/Project H.O.P.E. Ministries, Inc. Bible Verses from New King James Version were found on Bible Gateway. I want to encourage you to walk in your God given purpose! When I felt led to start a blog to encourage others, I did not have the first clue where to start! The LORD has guided my footsteps the whole way! We were created with great purpose and it is found in Christ! Never let anyone make you feel like you don't have any worth. God spoke to Jeremiah and said, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Just as He spoke to Jeremiah, He continues speaking to us today. Seek Him, ask Him to guide the way to Him, and He will begin to show you the purpose that He has placed inside of you! Watch and see! #Hopeinchrist

There are many beliefs in our world today. Many have turned from the true and living God and have begun to trust in myths, false religions, or have no beliefs at all. Therefore, now more than ever it is very critical for us to know in our hearts what we truly believe. The truth only comes from God the creator of our very souls. His word is written by those who witnessed and believed in Him. The above scripture was recorded by Apostle John. His goal was for others to know that Christ is the One that is and is to come. I wrote a belief statement based on the word of God and I encourage you all to do the same today. Please enjoy: I Believe "I believe that there is only one God, King, and LORD, Jesus Christ! I believe that I am created in His image and His likeness. I believe that His word is the only truth and without error of which I live by since the day He transformed my life. I walk in relationship with Him. I believe that He is my Creator and LORD of my life! I stand on His truth because I believe that truth originates from Him. I believe that He spoke through prophets and teachers and left His Word for me to know Him and keep His way. I believe in eternal life only through Christ Jesus. I believe that I must seek Him all the days of my life. He is love! He is my life! I believe!" Copyright © 2016 by Denise Walker/Project H.O.P.E. Ministries, Inc.
