"Healthy, Overcomers, Purposed with an Eternal Perspective"

"Not of This World" by Jessica LeeAnn is a story about a young lady named Tamar. Tamar is saved, sanctified and Holy Ghost filled. She was raised by her grandmother and has grown into a beautiful, God fearing young lady. In this story, Tamar struggles with desiring to be independent from the watchful eye of her grandmother and loving herself. After landing her dream job, Tamar begins to drastically change and her family and friends try to understand why.

This story is a page turner from beginning to the end. The plot line is unique and does not have your typical ending. This is a wonderful eye opener of how conforming and desiring the things of this world can draw us away from those who care most about us and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tamar's conflict will help you understand that any one of us could find ourselves in her situation. We must draw near and grow in our relationship with Christ and His keeping power!

Overall, if you enjoy reading a good story with a little drama, but  a serious message, then "Not of This World" is the book for you! I give this novel 5 stars. There aren't many novels out there that teach on holiness and a closer relationship with Christ. I can't wait for Book 2.

Be Blessed,
Hope-in-Christ

The scripture for Hope-In-Christ Book Club:

Matthew 6:22-23 - The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

We must continue to guard our eyes and our heart. Therefore, the books are carefully selected and assured that they are rooted in God's Word.
