Recently, I celebrated a 10 year anniversary. It was 10 years since God gave me the vision for HOPE-in-Christ Ministries. As I prepared for the celebration, I heard the LORD say to me, "Arise and return to the place where I first established you, your ministry." He went on to say, "It's not just for you, but for those in the Kingdom."
Next, I bowed my head and repented. I repented for all the other things I had done and committed to, but I hadn't been faithful to what God had established through me. In Exodus 3:10-12, God gave similar instructions to Moses, "Come, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.” And like Moses, I, too, said to God (in my heart), "Who am I that I should go and bring your children out of Egypt, which represents sin, rejection, abandonment, and other forms of bondage. I never spoke those words from my mouth, but they were in my heart. I spoke it when I didn't move forward with this platform. I felt no one would listen. Like Moses, I felt I wasn't equipped to do it alone. So, I wrote and recorded the podcast sporadically. Now, don't get me wrong, I where many hats (minister, editor, writing, and book coach), so there were times I was truly exhausted, but I committed to write for and do things for others. I was disobedient to the call on my life and didn't realize it until God gave me those instructions in December. So, I have returned. I've chosen to obey the LORD's instructions. To do that, I had to say no to many things. To do that, I have to be intentional and committed to Him, which is what our walk with Him is all about. God has allowed me to experience success, despite not being faithful. He has allowed me to write and become a bestseller. In my teaching, he has allowed for my voice to be heard around the world, but being recognized and receiving accolades are not what matter. What matters is drawing others to Christ, so they might find hope in Him, be healed, set free, and made whole. So, if you are like me and you set down a portion of God's mission, pick it up. Answer the call. Say "No," and let God help that individual understand. Some may not but still be obedient. And remember, just as He was with Moses, He will be with us and equip us as we obey, not to bring glory to ourselves but all glory to Him. Be Blessed, Hope in Christ

Thank you for such a word in season. This is surely the time for believers, followers of Christ to be spread the gospel in our own unique ways. We must use our gifts as God intended. I look forward to more. Grateful to be connected. God bless your ministry.
